Social Science

Here at South Gate Highschool your students will be receiving instruction and life-lessons from the past. Engaging actively in group discussion, argumentative and informative writing, and projects-based learning centered around the history of the last 400 years of nations and empires of all the major continents. We offer advanced "AP" courses in US History, US Government, Microeconomics, Psychology and African American Studies, as well as cultural and career courses like Chicano Studies, Constitutional Law, and Psychology.
